Chalk Magazine : PLAYERS IN PINK

This is one of the fashion editorials that I have done with Chalk Magazine.  This shoot featured male varsity players from different universities and professional players from PBL. I could not forget this editorial shoot because I had to escape from my regular office work just to be here. I was really scared that my boss would be looking for me but also very excited at the same time. Hahaha...lol...There are really scarry things that you will do in life just to fuel your passion. Even when your regular job is at stake, you really would not care.

RYUJI FORTUNA : The Chosen One

I've known Ryuji Fortuna since he joined the Mr. Campus Face  in 2006. He emerged as   the runner up to Spark Ding who bagged the title.  Since then, I was really eager to collaborate with him for a photo shoot.  Who wouldn't want right? He's one of the cutest faces you will see in the modelling industry. It's really a no surprise if you will be seeing his face among top TVC and print campaigns like Smart Buddy, Smart Rewards, Coca-Cola, BDO and more.

Finally, when I did Project NaNiVoN last year, I had a chance to work with this cutie after two (2) long years of waiting. It was indeed a pleasure having him in my project. Not only that he was one of my chosen models, he also did the graphic designs of the teasers and posters of the project. He also surprised me by doing the launching video of Project NaNiVoN. Thank you so much Ryuji for all the BIG help you did during Project NaNiVoN. It wouldn't be the same without your help.

ALL ABOUT BIM

I was still privileged to work with top model Bim Cecilio just before he bid goodbye to modelling in the Philippines. I met him at the launching of the defunct L Magazine at one of the bars in Quezon City. He was one of the models of the sexy fashion show that was done to launch the daring magazine. Just before I left the venue, I had a chance to meet him and I invited him right away to model for this fashion editorial. I was so glad that Bim readily accepted my shoot invitation.

This was supposed to be for the fourth (4th) issue of Celebrity Connect Magazine. Unfortunately, after I did all my editorial shoots for this issue, the management decided to discontinue the publishing of the magazine. Well well well, I still have so much to be thankful to the magazine. Working with Celebrity Connect for four (4) issues was really amazing. It was such an experience I could not forget. I learned so much and it made organizing project shoots now very easy.  I really thank my very good friends (Jonathan Chiong, Charlize Legaspi, Jet Loveria, George Delfin, Toy Magtaas, Roy Nabong, Rod Baragas, Art Elefante and Venuz Causaren) for all the BIG help in my previous shoots for Celebrity Connect. Everything will not be possible without you guys. I am looking forward to work with all of you again in the future.

BRENT CHUA : The First Asian Male Supermodel

I was privileged to have worked with Brent Chua in a special collaboration photo shoot organized by my photographer friend - Henry Anima II. Brent was dubbed as the First Asian Male Supermodel.  Contrary to what I have expected, I thought he was a diva but I was totally wrong. He was uber nice, super pleasant, understanding, fun and very down-to-earth person to work with. He doesn't want any special treatment from all of us in the shoot. He was there working his ass with utmost professionalism. He dominated the whole shoot with his energy and fun personality even when it was already wee hours of the morning.

I told Brent in one of our conversations in Facebook, that really I like supporting people like him. He is someone who does not  have an air inspite of all the success he experienced abroad. He is so much worthy to be called a Supermodel because the title does not get inside his head.

Until our next shoot Brent...More Power to you!
